1.1 Related Policies

Your use of the Services is also governed by the following policies, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference:

• Waiting Room Competition Rules (where applicable)
• Additional terms presented when purchasing subscriptions or digital products

If there is a conflict between these Terms and any additional terms applicable to a specific feature or promotion, the additional terms will control only with respect to that feature or promotion.

1.2 Updates to these Terms

Technology, laws, and the 24 platform will continue to evolve. Accordingly, we may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you by:

• displaying an in-app notice;
• updating the "Last Updated" date above;
• sending an email, where available;
• posting a notice on our website; or
• another method permitted by applicable law.

1.3 Our Services

24 is a social platform designed to help people discover one another, communicate, and build real-world connections. The Services may include features such as:

• profile creation;
• personalized recommendations;
• messaging;
• voice notes;
• time-limited conversations;
• conversation extensions;
• subscriptions;
• referral programs;
• Waiting Room experiences;
• Ambassador Programs;
• promotions;
• digital purchases; and
• additional features introduced over time.

Certain features may only be available in specific locations, during promotional periods, or to eligible users. We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, product, promotion, or portion of the Services at any time, with or without notice, except where prohibited by applicable law.

1.4 Acceptance of Electronic Communications

By creating an account or using 24, you consent to receive electronic communications from us relating to your account and the Services. These communications may include:

• verification codes;
• security alerts;
• service announcements;
• purchase confirmations;
• subscription notices;
• updates to these Terms;
• legal notices; and
• other communications necessary to provide the Services.

Where permitted by law, we may also send promotional communications, which you can opt out of as described in our Privacy Policy. You agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be provided in writing.

1.5 No Guarantee of Availability

While we strive to provide a reliable service, 24 does not guarantee that the Services—or any particular feature—will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

From time to time we may: perform maintenance; release updates; modify functionality; restrict access; suspend features; or discontinue portions of the Services. We are not liable for temporary interruptions or feature changes except as required by applicable law.

1.6 Future Features

As 24 evolves, we may introduce new products, technologies, subscriptions, promotional programs, artificial intelligence features, or other functionality.

Your use of those features may be subject to additional terms presented at the time they become available. If additional terms conflict with these Terms, the additional terms will govern only the applicable feature to the extent of the conflict.

1.7 Agreement Between You and 24

These Terms form the entire agreement between you and 24 Operating Company LLC regarding your use of the Services, except where supplemented by additional written agreements or feature-specific terms.

Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, agency relationship, or fiduciary duty between you and 24.

2.1 Eligibility

24 is intended exclusively for adults. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to create an account or use the Services.

By creating an account or using 24, you represent and warrant that:

• you are at least 18 years of age;
• you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
• you are not prohibited by applicable law from using the Services;
• all information you provide is truthful and accurate; and
• your use of 24 complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

2.2 Geographic Availability

24 initially launches in the United States. Access to certain features may be limited based on your location or jurisdiction. We may expand, restrict, suspend, or discontinue availability in specific regions at any time.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of 24 is lawful where you access the Services.

2.3 Creating an Account

To use 24, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to provide complete, current, and accurate information. You agree not to:

• create an account using false information;
• impersonate another individual;
• create an account on behalf of another person without authorization;
• misrepresent your identity;
• misrepresent your age; or
• use another person's phone number or credentials.

Providing inaccurate or misleading information may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2.4 Phone Number Verification

24 currently uses phone number verification as the primary method of account authentication. You agree that:

• the phone number you provide belongs to you or that you are authorized to use it;
• you will maintain access to that number while using 24; and
• you will not attempt to bypass verification systems.

You are responsible for updating your phone number if it changes. Failure to maintain a valid verified phone number may limit your ability to access your account.

2.5 Recovery Information

You may choose to provide additional recovery information, such as a recovery email address, to help restore access to your account. You are responsible for ensuring that any recovery information remains accurate and up to date.

2.6 One Account Per Person

Unless 24 expressly authorizes otherwise, each individual may maintain only one personal account. You may not:

• create multiple personal accounts;
• maintain duplicate accounts;
• create replacement accounts to evade enforcement actions;
• operate accounts for other individuals; or
• transfer your account to another person.

We reserve the right to merge, suspend, or permanently remove duplicate accounts.

2.7 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device. You agree to: safeguard your verification codes; protect access to your device; notify 24 promptly of unauthorized access; log out of shared devices where appropriate; and use reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized use.

You are responsible for activity occurring through your account unless prohibited by applicable law.

2.8 Unauthorized Use

If you believe someone has accessed your account without authorization, you should notify 24 immediately. We may take steps to protect your account, including temporarily restricting access, requiring additional verification, resetting authentication credentials, or suspending account activity while investigating.

2.9 Future Identity Verification

To improve community safety, 24 may introduce identity verification features in the future. If identity verification becomes available, 24 may request information reasonably necessary to confirm your identity, reduce impersonation, detect fraudulent accounts, satisfy legal obligations, and maintain community trust.

Participation in identity verification may be optional or required for certain features, promotions, or account activities.

2.10 Account Ownership

Your 24 account is personal to you. You may not sell, transfer, license, rent, or give another person access to your account. Any attempted transfer is void.

2.11 Username and Profile Information

You are responsible for all information appearing on your profile. You agree that your profile will not contain false or misleading information, content that infringes another person's rights, or prohibited material described in these Terms or the Community Guidelines.

24 reserves the right to remove or modify profile information that violates these Terms or applicable law.

2.12 Account Suspension Pending Investigation

24 may temporarily restrict or suspend an account while investigating suspected violations of these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law. During an investigation, certain features may be unavailable, including messaging, profile visibility, purchases, or promotional participation.

2.13 Account Termination

You may stop using 24 and delete your account at any time through the available account settings.

24 may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably determine that you violated these Terms or Community Guidelines, created duplicate accounts, provided false information, or present a safety risk.

2.14 Survival

Provisions relating to intellectual property, payment obligations, dispute resolution, limitation of liability, indemnification, privacy, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect after your account is deleted or terminated.

3.1 Our Community

24 exists to help people build genuine, respectful, and meaningful connections. Every feature of the Services—including profiles, messaging, voice notes, referrals, promotions, competitions, and future experiences—is intended to support a safe and welcoming community.

3.2 Community Guidelines

Your use of 24 is subject to our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Community Guidelines describe expected behavior, prohibited conduct, reporting procedures, moderation practices, and enforcement actions.

3.3 You Are Responsible for Your Conduct

You are solely responsible for: your profile; messages you send; voice notes you record; photographs you upload; prompts you answer; content you share; interactions with other users; and activities conducted through your account.

3.4 Respectful Conduct

While using 24, you agree to interact with others respectfully. You agree not to engage in conduct that is intended to intimidate, threaten, harass, exploit, manipulate, deceive, discriminate against, or otherwise harm another person.

3.5 Illegal Activity

You may not use 24 to engage in, facilitate, promote, or encourage illegal activity, including financial crimes, fraud, human exploitation, trafficking illegal goods, or interfering with legal investigations.

3.6 Prohibited Content

You may not upload, transmit, publish, distribute, or otherwise make available content that:

• is unlawful;
• infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
• contains malicious software or code;
• promotes violence, terrorism, or organized crime;
• depicts child sexual abuse or exploitation;
• facilitates human trafficking;
• encourages self-harm or suicide;
• contains non-consensual intimate imagery; or
• contains content you do not have the legal right to share.

3.7 Platform Integrity

You may not interfere with the operation of 24, including attempting unauthorized access, reverse engineering, introducing malware, disrupting network servers, or abusing APIs.

3.8 Fake Accounts and Impersonation

You may not impersonate another individual, misrepresent your identity, create fake accounts, pretend to represent 24, or mislead users regarding your affiliation with any person or organization.

3.9 Spam and Commercial Activity

Unless expressly authorized by 24, you may not use the Services to send unsolicited commercial messages, advertise products, solicit money, conduct pyramid schemes, harvest contact information, or generate artificial engagement.

3.10 Automated Activity

You may not use bots, scripts, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated technologies to create accounts, browse profiles, send messages, collect information, or inflate referrals without written authorization from 24.

3.11 Intellectual Property of Others

You may only upload content that you own or have the legal right to use. You represent and warrant that content you submit does not infringe copyrights, trademarks, or publicity rights.

3.12 Offline Interactions

24 provides a platform for introductions but does not supervise interactions between users outside the Services. You acknowledge that meetings with other members occur entirely at your own discretion and risk.

3.13 Reporting Violations

Users may report suspected violations of these Terms or the Community Guidelines through the reporting tools available within 24 in good faith.

3.14 Investigations

24 may investigate potential violations by reviewing profiles, reports, messages, voice notes, media, and technical history via automated systems and human reviewers.

3.15 Enforcement

Enforcement actions may include warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, temporary suspensions, permanent termination, or reporting unlawful conduct to legal authorities.

3.16 Our Right to Protect the Platform

24 reserves the right to take any action reasonably necessary to protect our users, the integrity of the Services, our employees, and compliance with applicable law.

4.1 Your Profile

Your 24 profile helps other members learn about you. You may provide photographs, first name, age, bio, hometown, city, education, occupation, interests, prompts, and preferences. You are solely responsible for keeping this information accurate.

4.2 Profile Accuracy

You represent that your profile information is materially accurate and agree not to intentionally misrepresent your identity, age, photographs, or affiliations.

4.3 Your Content

You retain ownership of User Content submitted to 24 (photos, bios, prompts, messages, voice notes, etc.). Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your User Content to 24.

4.4 License You Grant 24

You grant 24 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, display, reproduce, and format your User Content solely to operate, improve, and protect the Services and comply with law.

4.5 Content Standards

You represent that you own your content and that it does not violate third-party rights or our Community Guidelines.

4.6 Messages

Messages are private between members. 24 does not routinely monitor conversations but may review them to investigate reports, enforce Terms, maintain safety, or comply with legal obligations.

4.7 Twenty-Four Hour Conversations

One of 24's defining features is time-limited conversations. Unless otherwise specified, conversations remain active for a limited period. When that period expires:

• messaging functionality may end;
• conversation status may change; and
• certain user-facing content may no longer be accessible in the app.

4.8 Conversation Extensions

24 may offer features allowing eligible users to extend conversation durations through Premium benefits or purchased digital products.

4.9 Voice Notes

You are solely responsible for audio content transmitted and must comply with all Community Guidelines.

4.10 Photographs and Media

Uploaded media must depict you or be shared with permission, and comply with community standards.

4.11 Icebreakers and Interactive Features

Participation in prompts, polls, quizzes, and games is voluntary and responses constitute User Content.

4.12 No Expectation of Permanent Availability

24 does not guarantee that conversations, media, or profile information will be permanently accessible. Users are responsible for keeping their own copies if needed.

4.13 Monitoring and Moderation

Automated safety tools and human moderation may be used to detect violations and maintain community trust.

4.14 Removal of Content

24 may remove or disable access to content that violates these Terms or poses legal or safety risks.

4.15 Feedback

Any feedback or ideas submitted may be used by 24 without restriction or compensation to you.

5.1 Paid Services

Certain features are free; additional digital products and subscriptions may be offered for purchase ("Paid Services").

5.2 24 Premium

24 Premium is an optional recurring subscription providing enhanced discovery, profile insights, and conversation benefits. Benefits may evolve over time.

5.3 Time Packs

Time Packs are digital products used to extend eligible conversations. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed outside 24.

5.4 Shine Packs

Shine Packs temporarily increase profile visibility. They do not guarantee matches, conversations, dates, or romantic outcomes.

5.5 Future Digital Products

24 may introduce additional event passes, boosts, or digital collectibles subject to additional terms.

5.6 Pricing

Prices may vary by location, platform, currency, and promotions. Prospective price changes will not affect previously completed purchases.

5.7 Billing

Billing may be handled through Apple, Google, Stripe, or another authorized payment processor. You are responsible for applicable governmental taxes.

5.8 Automatic Renewals

Subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. Renewal terms and pricing are disclosed prior to purchase.

5.9 Cancellation

You can cancel subscriptions through the platform where purchased (e.g., App Store settings). You retain benefits through the end of the paid billing period.

5.10 Refunds

Purchases made through Apple or Google are governed by their respective refund policies. Digital goods are generally non-refundable after delivery except where required by law.

5.11 Promotional Offers

Trials and discounts are subject to eligibility determined by 24. Abuse of promotions may lead to forfeiture or account termination.

5.12 No Ownership Interest

Purchasing Paid Services grants a limited, revocable, non-transferable personal license—not personal property ownership.

5.13 Virtual Products

Virtual credits or goods have no cash value outside 24 and cannot be resold or transferred.

5.14 Platform Rules

Downloads through Apple or Google are also subject to marketplace developer terms.

5.15 Taxes

You are responsible for applicable sales, VAT, or local taxes not collected directly by 24.

5.16 Fraud Prevention

24 may suspend or reverse transactions suspected of chargeback abuse or payment fraud.

5.17 Availability

Paid Services are offered subject to availability and may be modified over time.

5.18 Purchases Do Not Guarantee Outcomes

Purchasing Premium, Time Packs, or Shine Packs enhances features but does not guarantee matches, replies, or dates.

5.19 Changes to Paid Services

Features may be bundled, separated, or retired with communication provided as required by law.

6.1 Promotional Programs

24 may offer optional Waiting Room experiences, Ambassador Programs, sweepstakes, giveaways, and community activations.

6.2 Official Rules

Specific promotions may be governed by separate Official Rules, which control in the event of a conflict.

6.3 Eligibility

Criteria (age, school, region, verification) are determined by 24 in its reasonable discretion.

6.4 Waiting Room Experience

Pre-launch Waiting Room activities (prompts, milestones, leaderboards) do not guarantee admission, prizes, or compensation unless explicitly promised.

6.5 Rankings and Leaderboards

Leaderboards are promotional; 24 may correct errors, audit scores, and disqualify fraudulent activity.

6.6 Ambassador Program

Ambassadors participate independently. Participation does not create an employment, agency, or partnership relationship with 24.

6.7 Referral Verification

Referrals are validated using fraud detection systems and authentic account verification.

6.8 Fraudulent Referral Activity

Self-referrals, bot generation, and selling referral codes are strictly prohibited and result in reward forfeiture and suspension.

6.9 Prizes and Rewards

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Substitutions may be made by 24 if necessary.

6.10 Taxes

Recipients are responsible for tax reporting and obligations associated with prizes.

6.11 Live Experiences

Attendance at community events, launch parties, or brand activations is voluntary; guests are responsible for their own safety and transportation.

6.12 Third-Party Partners

Venues and vendors operate independently; 24 is not liable for independent third-party services.

6.13 Modification or Cancellation

24 may modify or cancel promotions due to technical errors, fraud, or safety concerns.

6.14 Publicity

Use of prize winner likenesses requires separate voluntary publicity releases.

6.15 No Guarantee of Future Promotions

Promotional programs may be discontinued at any time.

6.16 Final Decisions

24's reasonable decisions regarding eligibility, points, and rewards are final.

7.1 Ownership of the Services

The software, algorithms, designs, graphics, branding, and content of 24 are owned by or licensed to 24 Operating Company LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.

7.2 Limited License to You

You receive a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7.3 Restrictions on Use

You may not copy, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, mirror, or commercially exploit 24 Content without written consent.

7.4 24 Name and Brand

"24" trademarks, wordmarks, and logos are proprietary assets. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

7.5 Your User Content

You retain full ownership of photos and messages submitted, subject to the license granted in Section 4.

7.6 Content You Do Not Own

Do not upload content that infringes upon third-party copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights.

7.7 Feedback

Unsolicited feedback or suggestions may be implemented by 24 without attribution or compensation.

7.8 Copyright Complaints

If you believe copyrighted material is infringed, submit a written notice with work details, infringing location, and signature under penalty of perjury.

7.9 Counter-Notifications

Affected users may submit statutory counter-notifications if material was removed in error.

7.10 Repeat Infringers

Accounts of repeat intellectual property infringers will be terminated.

7.11 Open Source Software

Applicable open-source licenses govern third-party open-source components included in the Services.

7.12 Third-Party Intellectual Property

Third-party marks displayed remain property of their respective owners.

7.13 Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by 24.

7.14 Government Rights

Commercial software restrictions apply to any acquisition by governmental agencies.

7.15 Injunctive Relief

24 may seek equitable or injunctive remedies to prevent unauthorized IP misuse.

8.1 Nature of the Services

24 facilitates discovery and communication. We do not guarantee matches, dates, relationships, or compatibility.

8.2 No Background Checks

24 does not routinely conduct criminal background checks or identity verification on all users. Exercise your own independent judgment and caution.

8.3 Offline Meetings

Meeting in person is done solely at your own risk. 24 cannot supervise offline interactions. Always prioritize safety, meet in public, and tell a friend.

8.4 Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for independent third-party maps, stores, payment processors, or external partners.

8.5 Availability

The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." Warranties of merchantability, fitness, and uninterrupted uptime are disclaimed to the extent permitted by law.

8.6 User Content

24 does not endorse User Content or user statements; opinions belong solely to the posting users.

8.7 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 24 Operating Company LLC and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, emotional distress, or offline injuries.

8.8 Maximum Liability

Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to 24 in the prior 12 months, or $100 USD.

8.9 Force Majeure

24 is not liable for service failures resulting from natural disasters, telecommunication outages, cyberattacks, or conditions beyond reasonable control.

8.10 Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless 24 against claims, losses, and legal fees arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your misuse of the platform.

8.11 Consumer Rights

Non-waivable statutory consumer protections in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.

9.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules.

9.2 Jurisdiction

Exclusive venue and personal jurisdiction lie in the state or federal courts of Connecticut.

9.3 Informal Resolution

Before legal proceedings, contact us to seek informal support resolution.

9.4 Time Limit for Claims

Any legal claim must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action arose.

9.5 Assignment

You may not assign rights under these Terms. 24 may assign them in connection with a merger or restructuring.

9.6 Severability

If any provision is deemed unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in full force.

9.7 No Waiver

Failure to enforce any term is not a waiver of future rights.

9.8 Entire Agreement

These Terms and incorporated policies constitute the complete agreement between the parties.

9.9 Interpretation

Headings are for reference only. "Including" means including without limitation.

9.10 Relationship of the Parties

Both parties are independent contractors; no partnership or agency exists.

9.11 Survival

IP rights, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification survive termination.

9.12 Electronic Agreement

Electronic acceptance has the identical legal effect of a signed paper agreement.
